Works of art will be unveiled on Saturday 15 June from 10.00 to 14.00 at the company's showroom in via Montenapoleone 19 with an original concept. The protagonist of the day will in fact be the live performance “Shoes in the making”, which will pay homage to the Milanese heritage of the house.
A master shoemaker will perform in the creation and construction of Fragiacomo shoes, thus showing all the craftsmanship expertise in real time to the guests. The event, which will continue in the evening from 15:00 to 16:30 in the Fragiacomo boutique in via Turati 8, underlines the company's constant approach in the development, current and future, of men's proposals.
The 2020 summer collection starts from the driving force of Fragiacomo creativity: Milan. A story that began in 1956 in the atelier in via Manzoni which today lives on in the sartorial and avant-garde style of Works of art. The classic men's models are characterized by the historical savoir faire and find a renewed interpretation thanks to the use of modern technologies. Hence a transversal collection that ranges from the most classic to the most contemporary models, both characterized by special craftsmanship and precious materials.
The iconic Oxford represents the elegant shoe par excellence, it is declined in the Goodyear construction, a symbol of proportions and wearability, even in the double buckle version. The most classic of the sophisticated models, the tuxedo shoe in very shiny patent leather, has a refined aesthetic and a refined style. The moccasin, with polished calfskin tassels, refers to a timeless beauty: the elegant, high-quality, comfortable and at the same time resistant models do not give up on design and precise attention to every detail.
The trait d'union of the whole collection is the double-hatched graphics translated from the original designs of Fragiacomo's patterns, present in every shoe and where the sartorial wisdom of the maison is kept.
