Accessories and garments from the capsule collection
launched for autumn / winter 2016/2017 contain all details that immediately
refer to the iconic features of the Bugatti brand.
The horseshoe- shaped front of the car is thus found in the
pendant of the bags, while the Bugatti blue color , which distinguishes the
interiors and bodywork of the cars, is used as a finish in the inner lining of
the bags, in an internal pocket or in the tread and insole of the shoes.
A recurring element of the capsule is also the color
palette, centered on three elegant and timeless colors: leather, military green
and blue.
This first collaboration of the great designer with the
renowned car manufacturer was very natural, as Giorgio Armani himself
underlined, “We share the cult of beautiful things made to last, made with the
best materials. The capsule condenses this encounter into a series of garments
and accessories designed to be worn by men who seek only the best and whose
lifestyle is active and dynamic ”, continued the designer.
A collaboration that bets heavily on accessories where the
refined briefcase in soft calfskin, entirely handmade, with a comfortable front
pocket, the precious variant in opaque crocodile lined in suede, tactile and
luxurious, always in Bugatti blue, and the weekend bag stand out.
The small leather goods, available in calfskin or in
crocodile, include belts, wallets, iPad cases and beauty cases characterized by
an evident zip closure.
An ultra-refined style for this new, exciting and stimulating project, as emphasized by Wolfgang Dürheimer, President of Bugatti Automobiles SAS which finds its maximum expression in clothing, such as the coat and a blouson in refined double cashmere, sweaters in very fine cashmere, a leather jacket with stand-up collar and concealed hood and jeans in treated denim that, thanks to the hand-made flocking, appear soft as if they were velvet.
